"COVER TO DISCOVER"
REVELLIN SQUARE, LOGROÑO (SPAIN)
CONCENTRICO ARCHITECTURE FESTIVAL 2017
The Concentrico Festival of Architecture that takes place every year in Logroño, Spain is a great opportunity for young architects to show their new and inspiring ideas in order to design and create pavilions and urban interventions in the streets and squares where the festival is carried out.
``Cover to discover´´ is an intervention designed to be carried out in one of the oldest squares of the city, Revellin square, which is in the historical part of the city, inside the city walls.
Human being has the ability of considering as merely simply or normal something that is absolutely fantastic and something for which should be boast and be proud, but curiosity, doubt, intrigue and the need to want to know more is also inside human being.
Covering the wall will draw the attention of the citizens, but the purpose of the project is to integrate it with the city and with the festival, so the wall will can be use during the festival as a huge mural or as a huge screen to project videos on it.
At the end of the festival the wall will be discovered, and the aim of the project will have been fulfilled, to remind citizens one of the wonders of the city, that many times go unnoticed.
